Atelier Materi – Bois d'Ambrette

A composition characterized by a less known moss: Ambrette. Ambrette Seeds are harvested by hand in small scattered plots within the tropical forests of northern Peru. Dried in the sun, sifted, cleaned and aired, they finally release floral and powdery accents together with notes of musk and amber.

Here, Marie Hugentobler chooses to fully express these rich and complex facets. After the crisp and luminous opening of Mandarin and Angelica, the sensual and slightly carnal notes of Ambrette unfold and settle with sobriety and elegance on a base of Sandalwood and Ambroxan.
